Work Experience

At the young age of seventeen, I endeavoured to develop a promotions company. With a creative vision in mind, I undertook this project and began to operate and manage my own company. Through this initiative, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in the entertainment industry. My determination as a teenager has contributed to my success today, as I consistently maintain the confidence to take on new projects and challenges.

In 2006, I began to work with SPG Music, once Canada’s #1 Independent Record label. I worked closely with the A&R manager at SPG Music, filtering through hundreds of demos and recommending the most suitable tracks for the company. I managed the media website for SPG Music and responded to correspondence from valuable clients. I also took on administrative duties, primarily computing royalties for artists featured on compilation albums. My time at SPG Music furthered my knowledge of practices in the music industry.

Studying Entertainment Management at the Trebas Institute of Canada, I learned the fundamental concepts of music production and marketing. This program allowed me to broaden my knowledge beyond management and focus on my passion for producing music.

In 2010, I put all my passion and determination into branding Kidmyn, my rock star alter ego. Kidmyn was the brand of a fresh, electronic producer. His first remix landed him over 7,000 local views on YouTube and airplay on Toronto’s only Dance Station, Z1035. Four months later his second remix went on iTunes to generate more income than all versions of the song. Using media like Facebook, I have introduced Kidmyn to listeners from over 118 countries across the world. I have had all my remixes aired on Z1035 mix shows. Even more rewarding is that I had my remix selected to be featured on a compilation which also featured great talents like Usher, David Guetta, the Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry and more.

My Club Advisor - Launching April 2013

Over the past year, I have been developing an online community called, “My Club Advisor”. The purpose of this website is to provide people an opportunity to review feedback about the different nightclub venues available worldwide in efforts to help them decide where to spend their nights out. This website also allows users to voice their opinion about their experience, helping to contribute to the ratings of the venues.

Live to Air on Z1035

DJ ZEE, A brand I am proud to say I built that jumped ship overnight to be the youngest Live to Air DJ in the city. I was apart of Wayback Wednesday's with Tony Monaco for two and a half years as we hosted a three-hour live to air broadcast.

The Tony Monaco Boat Bash

I have organized and branded a Toronto based boat cruise with Z1035’s top rated radio personality, Tony Monaco. 2011 Marks our four-year anniversary and host to well over two thousand people in attendance in three years.

The skills I obtained while managing a successful event is, time management, budgeting, and problem solving. In three years, I have set up portfolios and built sponsorships with the following companies, Axe Body Spray, Lipton, Hypnotiq, The Grille, Suave Hair Spray and Extreme Pita. I manage all sales, radio and web advertising, as well as wrote and produced the commercials that aired on Z1035.
